Project Talk: Thinking of Place, Tues 17 Nov, Auckland

You are invited to our artists' talk, 7pm this Tuesday, 17 November
at Railway St Studios, 8 Railway St, Newmarket in Auckland.

As you may know, Prue MacDougall and I have recently been involved
 in a collaborative printmaking project called Thinking of Place
with 50+ printmakers from around NZ and Australia,
the exhibition toured Cairns, Christchurch, Auckland and is now on its way to Ballarat, Victoria.
We will be giving a 'behind the scenes' talk about our experience of the project,
which we hope might inspire other printmakers and artists in creating your own future projects.

We hope to cover a variety of practical topics, such as;
organising a group show, logistics involved in a touring show,
applying for and managing your Community Council Arts Grant, creating an exhibition catalogue,
working as a group, promotion, public engagement with workshops and panel discussion, etc.

Railway St Studios is suggesting a $5 donation to cover drinks, nibbles, venue.
Contact Railway St Studios for further information if required.
