Learn the basics of screenprinting in just one day, this Saturday 9 May, 10am-4pm,
and take advantage of the opportunity to make a gift for Mothers Day on Sunday 10 May
or make a gift for yourself (cards, cushion cover, teatowels etc).
This Introduction to Screenprinting course introduces you to the essential pieces of equipment,
the processes and techniques, as well as hands-on printing time.
With the guidance of an experienced tutor,
you will learn how to make both hand-cut stencils
and a demonstration of the basics of photo emulsion for more detailed designs.
Cost $135 per person. Inks, paper, screens and equipment provided.
Teatowels and material for cushion covers available for purchase from tutor on the day, or bring your own.
This course is in central Auckland, and is suitable for beginners.
With class numbers restricted to a maximum of 4 students per class,
you'll get more assistance, and the content can be tailored to your own project ideas.
