Collagraph Workshop, 5-6July, Auckland

"Think Texture, Think Surface, Think Colour" is a two-day collagraph print workshop
at Nathan Homestead in Manurewa on Saturday & Sunday 5 - 6 July, 10am - 4pm

Enjoy a two day collagraph print workshop using materials from the home and hardware store.
Fabrics, textured wall paper, card, nail varnish and other materials
are combined with drypoint processes to make prints with the collagraph process.
Surfaces can be glued, scratched, embedded, stitched, painted and sanded
to provide an inking surface to transfer onto paper.
The process combines texture with hard lines producing interesting textures and results.

At the end of the two day workshop students will have produced a collaborative work,
and have a series of prints printed with examples of embossing, relief, and intaglio printing.
