Woodcut Workshop, 17 March, Wellington

On Saturday 17 March, Basia Smolnicki will be teaching a woodcut workshop

at Inverlochy Art School in Wellington, from 10am-5pm.

Create a two colour relief woodblock print in MDF board. 

This is a one day workshop exploring the preparation, cutting and proofing of a woodblock

and how to create a second or third block from the key woodblock. 

Transparent and opaque colour, water and oil based inks, paper and registration 

and how to use the equipment in the print studio will be discussed and demonstrated.
