Sheyne Tuffery is holding a 3-Colour Reduction Woodblock Workshop
from 10.30am-3.30pm on the weekend of 28-29 April
to be held at Hutt Arts Society, Lower Hutt, Wellington
This workshop is designed for people who have done the first woodblock course
and want to advance their learning and techniques of relief printing,
but if you have a little printmaking experience this will still be a great course to do.
The process is using the reduction printing technique
with 3 to 4 colours, working light to dark, to make a 5-6 print edition.
We will be working in 20cm sizes of MDF.
This is the best time to learn about editioning
and the art of registration.
All in all this is more tighter and traditional way of printing.
Cost: $225
All you need for this workshop is to bring a pencil, old shirt to work in
and some ideas for patterns or compositions for your blocks.
