National Contemporary Art Award - Call for Submissions

This is the 11th year of the National Contemporary Art Award (NCAA)
and this year the award is sponsored by local art philanthropist Barry Hopkins.
The award brings includes some of New Zealand's most exciting emerging artists.
With a prize of $15,000 it may well be worth sending in an entry!

I feel that it is appropriate for me to list it here as the criteria states:
All works are to be original
I'm taking that to mean it includes printmaking,
especially if your process produces artworks that are not 'multiples'.
What do you think???

There is only one winner, and up to three merit awards.
The exhibition will be held at the Waikato Museum 17 August - 18 November
Entry is open to all permanent New Zealand residents and citizens.

The entry fee is $35 per entry (non-refundable).
An image of the entry is to be submitted with the website entry form.
All entered works cannot have been previously exhibited.
The entry must be created for, and to be first viewed,
at the 2012 National Contemporary Art Award.
 No size restrictions within reason.
Submissions close 4 May 2012.
