Anatomy of a Linocut

Here's a video of American artist Bill Fick

showing how he makes a linocut, from drawing to cutting, to printing.

I'd be interested to hear if any of you make linocuts,
and what you like about them...

Also, please post a comment if you have any tips for those starting out with linocut
Here are a few tips from me:
1. Lino is so much easier to cut if you warm it a little
(at school my teacher used to make us sit on it, but maybe try a heater)
2. Don't make the press too tight or you'll squash the lino out of shape
